warrant an assessment.of the frequency of hazardous material shipments'and, i
potentially, the level'of risk associated with the. shipment.
The Staff, therefore, requested GPU Nuclear to provide information, within one year, including a more detailed. characterization of traffic and hazardous j
materials-shipments in the. vicinity of'OCNGS, that would permit verification l
l that.the risk due to nearby transportation'is acceptably. low.-

GPU Nuclear plans to make an assessment to respond to the Staff's request described above and will submit the results by May 31, 1991.
