{ In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(1), enclosed is an Oyster Creek technical specification change request (TSCR) No. 266. The purpose of this TSCR is to modify the safety limits and f lb f
=- surveillances of the LPRM and APRM systems and the related Bases to ensure the APRM channels respond within the necessary range and accuracy md to verify channel operability. In
_ addition, an unrelated change to the Bases of Specification 2.3 is included. The latter change is a clarification to some ambiguous language.
Using the standards in 10 CFR 50.92, GPU Nuclear, Inc. has concluded that these proposed
__ changes do not constitute a significant hazards consideration, as described in the enclosed analysis performed in accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(a)(1). Also enclosed is a Certificate of E -
Service for this request, certifying service to the chief executives of the township and county in which the facilities are located, as well as the designated official of the state of New Jersey, Bureau of Nuclear Engineering.
