As was committed to your Staff at the meeting of October 23, 1979, enclosed are four (4) copies of the "SQRT Informatinn Packages" relating to the 26 balance-of plant (BOP) components identified by the NRC for future audit.
It is our understanding *. hat a visit will be scheduled in the near future during which these records will be reviewed in detalj by your Staff. As was stated at the October 23 meeting, it would be most helpful to the conduct of the NSSS evaluation being per-formed by Sargent & Lundy if the BOP visit is held soon, so that any comments made concerning the B0P equipment can be factored into the NSSS evaluatlon.
In this regard, we expect to have completed 85 percent of the NSSS evaluation in January, 1980. Prior to that time we will expect to receive an audit item checklist as was provided for the BOP equipment.
Upon receipt of that chect. list, we will forward the completed SQRT information package.
If you have any questions with respect to our schedule or the equipment dynamic qualification program now being conducted on LaSalle County Equipment, please direct them to this office.
