On October 28, condenser tube leaks were identified that have kept the unit offline the remainder of October.

H -Other Summary Of Monthly Operatina Experience Unit 3 operated at essentially 100% power until October 15, 2005 when the 3C Feedwater Regulating Valve (SGRV) Positioner failed, resulting in low 3C steam generator level and a manual reactor trip. The 3B Steam Generator Feedwater Pump (SGFP) thrust bearing was damaged as a result of equipment failure on the SGFP recirculation control system. The unit resumed operation October 19, 2005, operating at 60% power while the 3B SGFP remained out of service. The unit was shut down October 24, 2005 due to the approach of Hurricane Wilma.

Unit 3 was returned to 60% power October 27, 2005 and remained at 60% power due to grass intrusion and the 3B SGFP remaining out of service.
