U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Washington, D. C. 20555-0001 Re:

Turkey Point Unit 3 Docket No. 50-250 Emergency Response Data System (EROS) Changes November 17, 2022 L-2022-182 10 CFR 50 Appendix E Pursuant to 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, VI, 3.a, "Maintaining the Emergency Response Data System," this letter notifies the NRC of a change to an existing data point to/from the Emergency Response Data System (EROS) Data Point Library Reference File for Turkey Point Unit 3.

The Turkey Point Unit 3 Spent Fuel Pit ventilation system incorporates a dedicated radiation monitor. A modification to replace RAD-3-6418 with an upgraded design has been completed, resulting in a revised data point ID and instrument ranges. summarizes the preceding EROS data point, the new EROS data point, and the corresponding library reference file.

The change was completed on November 3, 2022. This information is provided pursuant to 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, VI, 3.a, which requires NRC notification within 30 days after the changes are completed.

The monitoring system is a combination of interconnected skids (a low range and a high range noble gas monitors) with continuous particulate and iodine sampling capability.

The low range spent fuel pool gas detector (RAD-3-641 BA) is a beta scintillation detector and the high range detector (RAD-3-6418B) is a flow through ionization chamber detector.
