Dear Mr. Denton:

Section 10.3.4.2 of the Catawba Safety Evaluation Report discusses License Condition 19, Secondary Water Chemistry Monitoring and Control Program.

The Staff identified three additional pieces of information needed to complete their evaluation:

1 - Proceduras used to measure the value of each of the critical parameters.

Response - Attached is a list of the critical parameters measured and the corresponding chemistry procedure.

2 - The method of recording and managing the data.

Response - Attached is procedure CP/0/B/8800/05, Chemistry Procedure for the Recording and Manageinent of Data.

3 - Identification of the authority responsible for interpretation of the data and the sequence in timing of administrative events required to initiate corrective actions.

Response - Attached is procedure AP/0/B/5500/34, Abncrmal Procedure for Secondary Chemistry Parameters out of Specification.
