Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No. 119 In response to conversations with your Staff concerning our original request of July 13, 1983 and the requirements of 10CFR50.91, GPU Nuclear is again requesting a change to Appendix A of the license. Our response relative to the 10CFR50.91 requirements has been modified to accomodate your needs.
In accordance with 10CFR50.59, 10CFR50.90 and lfCFR50.91, GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, requests changes to Appendix A of that license.
Pursuant to your correspondence of October 1, 1980 concerning long-term scram system reliability, section 3.1 and 4.2 of the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications shall be revised. The subject change request should become effective upon the completion of the modification, currently scheduled to be completed during the cycle 10 refueling outage.
With respect to the scram discharge volume, water level trip settings of Table 3.1.1, the final trip settings will be determined and submitted upon completion of system testing.
'Ihe Technical Specification Change Request has been reviewed and approved by the Plant Operations Review Committee and the Independent Safety Review Group in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek
