This letter is the final report. As proposed, the undersized viring will be replaced by Bechtel under MSA supervision when MSA is at our Midland site for field instrument installation and plenum testing. This hardware correc-tive action, which will bring this item into confor=ance with requirements, is presently scheduled for mid-1980. Pro 6ress and closure of this operation will be tracked through NCR 1733 MSA has given asutrance that no other MSA suppUed components are involved.
Attached is the final report frcm Bechtel, closing out their MCAR-27 on this matter. The Bechtel report describes tha process corrective action taken.
