Dear Mr. Grimsley,

1 j7 FOIA REQUEST This is a request,under the Freedom of Information Act, as amended, for any memos, documents or drafts pertaining to a June 12, 1986 letter from Victor Stello to Mr. J.L. Everett, III of the Philadelphia Electric Company. The letter dealt with the declining performance of the Peach Bottom nuclear power plants.

Also under the Freedom of Information Act, I am requesting that a copy of SECY-86-595 be placed in the Public Document Room.

This SECY is referenced in an attachment to a letter from Victor Stello to Congressman William Gordling.

The Nuclear Information and Resource Service is a non-profit organization providing information on nuclear power issues to members of the public. The documents being requested will be brought to the attention of members of Congress and state and local officials. Because no personal financial benefit will ensue, I hereby request waiver of any search and copy costs. , , ,
