Dear Sir / Madam:
In the Reference 1 letter, PECO Energy Company provided a response to Generic Letter (GL) 98-01, Supplement 1, " Year 2000 Readiness of Computer Systems at Nuclear Power Plants," dated January 14,1999, for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3, and Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2. In that letter, PECO Energy Company committed to remediating the 3D Monicore System at PBAPS, Units 2 and 3, and the 3D Monicore/ Plant Monitoring System at LGS, Unit 2, by September 30,1999. As identified in Attachment A, the 3D Monicore System at PBAPS, Units 2 and 3, and the 3D Monicore/ Plant Monitoring System at LGS, Unit 2, have been completed, ahead of schedule.
As requested in the Reference 2 letter, PECO Energy Company will notify the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission of the completion of the remaining systems, identified in Attachment A,
