Dear Sir / Madam:

NRC Administrative Letter 99-03," Preparation and Scheduling of Operatoi t. censing Examinations," dated August 20,1999, requested licensees to voluntarily submit a response I conceming initial operator licensing exemination needs, including an estimate of the number of I applicants to be examined and intentions regarding the preparation of the examinations.

Attachments 1 and 2 are the PECO Nuclear responses to Administrative Letter 99-03 for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS) and Limerick Generating Station (LGS), respectively. l The operator licensing examination information for each facility is provided on a separate NRC Form 536.

During Calendar Years CY2000 and CY2002 each, a total of eight (8) candidates are expected to i take the dual site Limited Senior Reactor Operator (LSRO) initial license examination as l indicated in Attachment 2. The schedule for the indicated exam is as follows: the written exam and part of the operating exam will be given at LGS; the remainder of the operating exam will be i completed at PBAPS.
