By letter dated August 6,1999, PECO Energy Company, applied for one-time exigent amendments to Facility Operating License Nos; DPR-44 and DPR-56 for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3. The proposed change would have involved a temporary change to increase the limit for the average water temperature of the normal heat sink from less than or equal to 90 *F to less than or equal to 92 *F in Technical Specification Surveillance

. Requirement 3.7.2.2. Subsequently, by letter dated September 23,1999, the licensee withdrew the amendment requests.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendments to Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 with the Office of the Federal Register for publication. The associated TAC Nos. MA6207 and MA6208 are closed.

Subsequently, by letter dated September 23,1999, the licensee withdrew the amendment requests.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendments to Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 with the Office of the Federal Register for ,
