We have reviewed our records of piping material for our Limerick plant and have determined that we do have some seam welded pipe manu-factured by Youngstown Welding and Engineering Company, none of which has been installed.
This piping consists of approximately 480 feet of 12" SA312 TP 304 stainless steel pipe which will constitute a portion of the Main Steam Relief Valve Discharge lines (design conditions 280 psig and 389*F).
There is also approximately 60            et of 10" and 60 feet of 12" seam welded stainless steel pipe from Youngstown which was purchased by the field and has not yet been designated for any specific service.
All of this piping has been placed on held, pending a 100% ultrasonic inspection, using procedures and acceptance criteria approved in accordance with ASME Section III, subarticle NB-2552.              Unacceptable indications will be eliminated by repair or replacement.

Dear Mr. Grier:

Very truly yours,
