Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2 Submittal of the Core Operating Limits Report

Dear Sir:

Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) submitted Technical Specifications Change Request (TSCR) No. 89-13 for the Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2, by letter dated February 23, 1990. This TSCR proposed to remove cycle specific parameter. limits from the Technical Specifications (15) in accordance with Generic Letter 88-16. " Removal of Cycle Specific Parameter Limits from Technical Specifications."

By your letter dated May 15, 1990 TSCR No. 89-13 was issued as Amendment No. 37 to facility Operating License No. NPF-39 and Amendment No. 4 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-85.

These amendments-removed cycle specific operating

. parameters from the TS and incorporated TS Section 6.9.1.12 which requires that the Core Operating Limits Report (COLR) tu provided upon issuance to the NRC Document Control Desk with copies to the Regional Administrator and Resident inspector.

Accordingly, we have enclosed revision 1 of the COLRs for the current LGS Units 1 and 2 fuel cycles, issued on May 15, 1990.
