Enclosed are three (3) signed originals and eighty-seven (87) conformed copies of A=endment No.12 to Consumers Power Company's application for a constructicn pe mit and operating license for Units 1 and 2 of the proposed Midland Plant.

Amendment ?Io. 12 includes additienni infc. ation in re-sponse to questions raised by the ACRS at the meeting May 8, 1970 and to cral ec=unications between the Cc=ission staff and the Applicant by telephone and at meetings held May 25 and May 20, 1970.

Copies of Amendment No.12 have also been sent to Mr. Jerome Maslovski, Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigani Mr. Franh Olds, Chai.~an of the County Ecard of Supervisors of Midland County, Michigan; Mr. Robert 3. Chatterton, Supervisor of Midland Township, Midland County, Michigan; and Mr. Julius Elasy, Ma'jor of the City of Midland, Michigan. Certificates of service on Mr. Olds and Mr. Chatterton are also enclosed.
