i Th2 unit was shut down late on 11/13/86 to correct a lube oil leak identified on the inboard 1 motor bearing of the west main feed pump (also serves as safety injection pump in the-event of a l LOCA). The leakage was through the labyrinth seal associated with the bearing, and allowed cbrut 15 gallons of oil to leak into the motor housing over a 15-20 minute period. The bearing c021 casembly is presently disassembled for evaluation. The licensee also plans to perform eth0r maintenance during the shutdown period.
