NUCLEAR SAFETY CONCERN RE: CARD PLAYING IN THE SECURITY CENTRAL ALARM STATION (UPDATE)
On December 9,1987, Region V reported that the licensee was investigating a report l
which implicated nine security officers and two supervisors for either playing cards while on duty in the Central Alarm Station, or having knowledge of it.
As a result of this investigation, the licensee reported that the following i
disciplinary actions have been completed: One alarm station shift supervisor and two l
I security officer field supervisors were terminated; four security officers received j
l 30-day suspensions; five security officers received 10-day suspensions; four security l
officers received written reprimands; and three security officers received verbal reprimands.
