Dear Mr. Clayton:
This notification is being submitted in accordance with condition 7 (b) of the North Anna Power Station (Registration Number 40726)
Stationary Source Permit to Construct and Operate an Emergency Diesel Generator, (identified by Virginia Power as the station blackout generator), issued October 20, 1993. The permit requires written notification to the DEQ - Air Division of the anticipated start-up date of the diesel engine postmarked not more than 60 days nor less that 30 days prior to such date.
Therefore, this letter is official notification that the station blackout generator at the North Anna Power Station is tentatively scheduled for start up on or around August 20, 1994.
