Special ReportL Georgia Power Company Plant E. I.~ Hatch Docket No. 50-366 HPCI INJECTION INTO REACTOR On 7-22-83 at 14:47, HPCI auto initiated and injected into the reactor to restore and maintain level following a loss of feedwater transient.
The transient was initiated when RFPT 2B tripped for unknown reasons.
RFPT 2A was out of service due to an insulation fire earlier in the day.
As of the date of this report, there have been twenty-five (25) in-cidents with HPCI injection into the reactor vessel.
