Unit 2 operated at rated thermal power for most of the month of March. Shift reduced load to approximately l 485 GMWe on 3/29/98 to facilitate maintenance activities in the condenser bay and perform turbine control {

nlve testing and scram time testing. Selected servo-strainers in the Turbine Electro-Hydraulic '

Control (EHC) System were also replaced. The unit was returned to rated thermal power on 3/30/98. i l
