Dear Mr. Partlow:

The General Electric Company, Vallecitos Nuclear Center (GE-VNC) submits herewith six copies of revised Pages 8-1 and 8-2 to supersede pages of the same name in Reference 2, above.

The changes on the revised pages are submitted pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 70.32(c), and in accordance with your directive (Reference 3, above) requiring additional commitments for timely reporting and response action as regards independent reviews and audits [10 CFR 70.58(c)(2)]. ?,11 revised pages have been modified to include the date of change. Additionally, specific change.s withh naragraph 8.3 are identifiable by a "bar/ asterisk" appearing in the left-hand mc gin.

In implementing the reported changes as set forth on the revised pages, it is our determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the Material Control and Accounting Program.

As the enclosed pages contain information concerning the safeguarding of SNM, GE-VNC requests that they be withheld from public disclosure, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d).
