Grimes, Director Integrated Safety Assessment Project Directorate Division of PWR Licensing - B Mr. Ashok C. Thadani, Director PWR Project Directorate #8 Division of PWR Licensing - B U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.C. 20555 Gentlemen:

Haddam Neck Plant Millstone Nuclear Power Station Unit Nos. I and 2 Revised Licensed Operator Requalification Training Program Procedures and Program Descriptions Forwarded herewith for your information and review are the revised licensed operator requalification training program implementing procedures and program descriptions for the Haddam Neck Plant and Millstone Unit Nos. I and 2. The procedures and descriptions detail the program content and training requirements and responsibilities associated with the respective licensed operator requalification programs.

These programs and their associated descriptions and procedures have been revised as part of Northeast Utilities' INPO accreditation efforts. They reflect the incorporation of plant specific simulator training into the training programs, the restructuring of Northeast Utilities' training responsibilities, and standardization of procedure and description format. The revisions to these programs do not reduce the scope, time allotted for, or frequency of training.

Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54, they da not require NRC approval prior to being implemented. However, the changes are, in our opinion, broad enough to warrant submittal for your review.
