Licensee Event Report (LER) No. 89-006-00: Disposition of Unborated Water Source Locked Valves Gentlemen Enclosed please find Licensee Event Report (LER) No. 89-006-00 for Seabrook Station. This submittal documents two events which were discovered on April 9 and April 17, 1989, and is being reported pursuant to Section 2.G of the Facility Operating License.

In addition to the corrective actions associated with the events described herein, the management of New Hampshire Yankee has reviewed recent operating experience to dutermine trends relating to operating performance.

The result of this review is that no specific trends or indications of diminished performance can be identified. However, in light of the events described herein, the management of'New Hampshire Yankee has taken actions to increase the awareness of personnel associated with plant activities to prevent similar occurrences.
