Based on guidance in Generic Letter 86-10 and an engineering evaluation, the events described in LER 50-315/85-70 were determined to be not reportable and the LER is being withdrawn.
The technical evaluations for these events concluded: 1) that a fire originating in the Computer Rooms would not have adversely affected the Fire Protection System from extinguishing _a fire; and
- 2) the degraded fire barrier in the Unit 1 Auxiliary Cable Vault did not adversely affect the fire safety of the areas involved.
LER 50-315/85-70 is being retracted, the LER number will not be reissued. Please update your records accordingly.
