Dear Dr. Murley:

On April 19, 1990, American Electric Power met with the NRC staff to discuss the licensing submittals that support the Cycle 8 reload license amendments for Indiana Michigan Power Company's Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 2 and related Unit 1 license amendment proposals. At the conclusion of the meeting, AEP committed to provide certain additional information concerning the February 6, 1990 submittal, AEP:NRC:1071E. This additional information is as follows:

(1) A revised, proposed, Unit 2 Technical Specification (T/S) page 2-2. The revised T/S page corrects a typographical error identified by the staff. It replaces the proposed T/S page 2-2 found in Attachment 2 of our previous submittal, AEP:NRC:1071E. The revised T/S page is in Attachment 1 to this letter.

(2) Replacement pages to Attachment 4, Appendix B, of our pr'evious submittal, AEP:NRC:1071E. The replacement pages update the submittal to reflect the reanalysis of the feedwater system malfunction event. The replacement pages are in Attachment 2 to this letter.

(3) Reconciliation of our previous submittal, AEP:NRC:1071E, with the 13 conditions in the SER to Westinghouse's VANTAGE-5 fuel topical report, WCAP-10444-P-A. The reconciliation is in Attachment 3 to this letter.
