Dear Dr. Murley:
The following information is provided in response to NRC Bulletin 90-01.
Bulletin 90-01 requires licensees with particular models of Rosemount pressure and differential pressure transmitters to identify and replace those transmitters that are installed in certain safety-.related systems.
Evidently, a number of these transmitters have exhibited a gradual and difficult to detect calibration shift due to the loss of filloil from the sensor module.
There are no Rosemount Model 1153 Series B, 1153 Series D or Model 1154 transmitters installed at Cook Nuclear Plant.
These are the models identified in the bulletin as being potentially defective.
While we do have some Model 1151 Rosemount transmitters, these were purchased as commercial grade units and are installed in non-safety related systems.
This letter is submitted pursuant to 10CFR50.54(f)
- and, as such, an oath statement is enclosed.
