. The licensee's commitment for modification to the closed circuit television (CCTV) system apparently received low priority and corrective actions in response to Violation 4b2/8734-01 did not appear timely. The technical solution to the problem appeared acceptable, but completion of the system upgrade is not scheduled for c1mpletion until the summer of 199 The licensee has installed a stride-breaker fence and a new microwave system that improves the overall security capabilities. The licensee's new microwave system has reduced the false and nuisance alarm rate (FAR/NAR). Consequently, the licensee does not have to post compensatory measures nearly as often with this new intrusion detection system. Tests of the microwave system resulted in identifying two zones where the system did not detect a licensee tester jumping over the zones.
