FLOODING IN THE VICINITY OF WOLF CREEK GENERATING STATION As a result of high rainfall and excessive runoff in the vicinity of Wolf Creek Generating Station, the Army Corps of Engineers has increased the flow of water from the John Redmond Reservoir, located near the Wolf Creek Generating Station site, into the Neosho River. Although some local flooding has occurred in low lying areas in the town of Burlington, Kansas, no site evacuation routes have been affected, and the increased flow into the river has had no impact on plant operations. The licensee has been in close contact with the Army Corps of Engineers, the Region Vil office of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the state and county emergency organizations.

The state of Kansas has been informed. Region IV received notification of this occurrence
