This letter.is to acknowledge the receipt and review of changes to the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station Emergency Preparedness Plan dated October 1986 (Rev. 7) submitted by letter dated January 29, 1987 in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q).

We have reviewed the changes in Revision 7'to the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station Emergency Preparedness Plan, and determined that the changes are con-sistent with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q) ar.d do not decrease the

, effectiveness of the emergency plan.

577 Your January 29, 1987 letter notes that you are seeking the replacement of '

f radio station WALK, the primary emergency broadcast station (EBS) in the Local Emergency Response Organization plan. While the final resolution of the EBS issue .is related to full-power'authorizatior, we request additional information .
