The Nuclear Regulatory Comnission has issued an " Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact," in response to your January 26, 1993, request for an exemption, pursuant to the provisions in 10 CFR 50.12(a)(1),

from the requirements in 10 CFR 50.54(q) of the Code of Federal Reaulations, i

for the Shoreham Huclear Power Station, Unit 1.

Following publication of the

" Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact" in the Federal Reaister, the exemption can be granted.
