Enclosed is an advance copy of the subject document with the comments incorporated provided in our February 8,1995 telephone conversation. Bound copies will be provided in approximately two weeks.
ESSAP would also like to take this opportunity to note that Tables 4 and 5 of this report have been modified from what appeared in the draft report. These tables originally included an indication of whether or not both the statistical evaluation of ESSAP's and LIPA's data sets and the NRC's guidelines were satisfied. However, because the text provides a detailed comparison and analysis of the data sets, the tables now only compare the data directly to the applicable guideline.
ESSAP believes that by making this change, the final radiological status of each confirmatory survey is presented in a format that will be clearer to the reader. Please contact me at (615) 576-5073 or William L. (Jack) Beck at (615) 576-5031 if we may provide additional information.
