NRC REGION I - UTILITY SYMPOSIUM / WORKSHOP ON ENGINEERING'S ROLE IN PLANT SUPPORT This is an invitation to you and other members of'your staff to attend and.
participate in a Region I symposium / workshop to be held at the Sheraton. Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania on February 20;'1991 from noon to 5:00 p.m. and February 21, 1991 from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The objective of the symposium is to promote a dialog and better understanding between licensee's engineering managers and NRC regarding engineering'sirole in support of; all plant activities. We recommend that participation include; senior nuclear.exr'utives and engineering managers of both corporate and site organizations.
The symposium is in the planning stage and preliminary topics for' discussion have been selected: elements of a good engineering organization,= licensees'.

As the plans for the symposium are further'finaltzed, interested. individuals will be selected to participate as speakers'or facilitators and a; final' agenda.
