This is to advise you that effective Friday, April 29, 1994, Mr. John C.

Brons resigned as the Executive Vice President of the Long Island Power Authority

("LIPA")' Shoreham Decommissioning Project to pursue employment with another utility company.

'LIPA, in consultation with its Independent Review Panel, has decided to eliminate the Executive Vice President position from its Shoreham Decommissioning Project Organization, ef fective with Mr. Drons' departure on April 29.

Thereafter, LIPA's Resident Manager at-Shoreham (A.J. Bortz) will report directly to LIPA's President of the Shoreham Decommissioning Project (C.V. -- Giacomazzo), who will assume all of the responsibilities previously. held by the Executive Vice President.

A copy of the revised Shoreham Plant Organization Chart is attached hereto.
