SHOREHAM NUCLEAR POWER STATION The Nuclear Pegulatory Commission has issued the enclosed hrendment No. 9 to facility Operating License No. NPF-36 for the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station.

This amerdment consists of changes to Attachment 3 to the Shoreham license in response to your application dated April 24, 1987.

This amendment re/ises Attachment 3 to the Shoreham license regarding maintenance and surveillance for the TDI emergency diesel generators. License l

condition 2.C(12) requires that Long Island Lighting Company implement the TDI d1Jsel requirements as specifiert in Attachment 3.

l A copy of our Safety 2 valuation is also enclosed. Notice of Issuance will be included in the Comission's biweekly Federal RegisteI notice.

SHOREHAM NUCLEAR POWER STATION The Nuclear Pegulatory Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 9 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-36 for the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station.

This amendment revises Attachm nt 3 to the Shoreham license regarding maintenance and surveillarce for the TDI energency diesel generators. License condition 2.C(1?) requires that Lono Island Lightino Company implement the TDI diesel requirements as specified in Attachment 3 A cooy of our Safety Evaluation is also enclosed.
