RE: SHORFHAM NUCLEAR POWER STATION Enclosed is a copy of the staff's Safety Evaluation Report (SER) of LILCO's responses, dated September 9, and December 21, 1988, to Bulletin 88-05 and its supplements. Based our review of these submittals we have concluded that LILC0 has demonstrated that the nonconforming materials provide an acceptable level of quality and safety in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55a(a)(3)(ii). We consider this issue to be resolved.
