SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR THE MONTH

- DOCKET NO.: 50-446 UNIT: CPSES 2 DATE: 7/09/99 COMPLETED BY: Bob Reible TELEPHONE: 254-897-0449 I a

MONTH: JUNE 1999 DAY TIME REMARK / MODE 06/01 0000 Unit began the month at 100% power.

06/28- 1500 Unit began power reduction to 80% power due to Chemistry identified sodium in Hotwell A.

(potential condenser tube leak).

1514 Unit at 80% power. Isolation of Hotwell A and Chemistry investigating cause high sodium levels.

'1528 Chemistry identifies that the high sodium levels were due to a one time addit.on from l&C j calibrations on the vacuum transmitters of both aux condensers.

1850 Unit begins ramp to 100% power.

2330 Unit retums to 100% power.

06/30 2400 Unit ends the month at 100% power.
