1. Page 4, Attribute 4A.a Delete Attribute 4A.a in its entirety and replace it with the following:

4A Bolts / Stud / Cap Screw and Nut Material

a. For bolcs/ studs / cap screws and nuts, (all sizes), verify the material installed is in accordance with the material required by the BRP isometric or the supplemental instructions. This may be accomplished by verifying that either the grade number stamped on the item or the color code painted on the item is in accordance with the BRP isometric or supplemental instructions. The grade number markings and color code requirements for bolting and nuts are

'provided on Attachment 6.7.

If no grade number or color code can be detected at reinspection, this attribute shall be marked "N/A".

The inspector shall record data in accordance with the following:

If no grade number or color code can be detected or the grade number or color code is not in accordance with the grade required by the BRP isometric or supplemental instructions, the inspector shall record any markings that exist on the bolts / nuts on Attachment 6.4. This information will then be reviewed as part of the " Documentation Review of Piping System Bolted Joint / Material Instructions - QI-022."
