By letter dated June 20, 1985, Revision 5 to the " Physical Security Plan, San Onofre Units'1, 2 and 3" was forwarded to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for revies. pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p).
This letter respondc to Revision 5 textual changes discussed between Mr. A. McQueen, Region V Safeguards Inspector and Mr. R. Beatty, SONCS Security Compliance during September 1985. Accordingly, pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p), enclosed are six (6) copies of a description of the textual changes discussed by Mr. McQueen and Mr. Beatty, identified with a vertical line in the right-hand margin and a number 5A corresponding to the revision number addendum. The revised changes described in the enclosure do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of this Plan.
The enclosure contains " Safeguards Information" as specified in 10CFR 73.21 and should be protected against unauthorized disclosure.
