" Engineering Program Weaknesses", dated. July 16, 1990 Reference A forwarded NRC Inspection Report Nos. 50-361/90-16 and 50-362'/90-16 and a Notice of Violation resulting from the special. inspection conducted by Ms.LM. Miller and other members of the NRC staff during the period May 21 through Juneil5,-1990. The Notice of Violation involved design changes to Main Steam Safety Valves and Main Feedwater Isolation Valves without performing associated seismic calculations.
Schsequent to the inspection, Reference B discussed the deficiencies
. identified at the exit interview and provided SCE's corrective actions.
