Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved August 1983, " Physical Security Plan, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1,2, and 3," as Enclosure 1. provides the Screening Criteria Forms (Assessment of Acceptability of 10 CFR

. 50.54(p) Plan Changes). The changes, as described in Enclosures I and 2, do not reduce the effectiveness of the plan.

Three copies of this original submittal are enclosed in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4 (b) (4). Two copies are also forwarded to the Regional Administrator, NRC, Region IV.

The enclosures contain " Safeguards Information" and must be protected in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21. If you have any questions regarding this information, please let me know.
