May 8, 1984 Oncket No. 50-382 MEMORANDUM FOR:
W. Besaw, Director Division of Technical Information and Document Control, TIDC FROM:
Dennis M. Crutchfield Waterford Team Leader Division of Licensing, NRR
SUBJECT:
EDITORIAL SUPPORT FOR SER SUPPLEMENT ON WATERFORD ALLEGATIONS The NRC's Waterford Team will require the further services at the site of one editor for the week of May 14-18, 1984 and two editors for the week of May 21-25, 1984.
This assistance will be required as the Team finishes work on allegations (between 350 and 400) that will be incorporated into an SER Supplement. We are on a tight schedule because the plant's announced fuel load date is the end of May. The OL cannot be issued until all issues, including tne allegations, have been resolved.
Follow-on editorial support in Bethesda will be required beyond these two weeks so that NRR can issue the Supplement as soon as possible after that.
Because of the tight schedule and the large volume of allegations, it is essential to the Team's effort that the editors work at the site. The paperflow procedure for all SER allegations is now in place that makes the editor central to coordinating work between the writers and team leaders.
The Division of Licensing, NRR will support this effort with travel funds.
