6.3 Nonconforming items -

'6.3.1 Nonconforming items shall be documanced on an Engineering

U Discrepancy Notice (ED10 by the Engineering Inspector. The I

inspector shall also enintain a log of all EDN's and one copy of each.

The Office Engineering Department shall maintain a los and original Engineering Discrepancy Notices until the not, ice is closed.

6.3.2 The Engineering Inspector shall place one copy of the EDN in e protectivia cover and attach to or near the nonfonforming I

item. The EDN. shall be maintained. on the item until corrective action has been. completed ~. The inspeceor-.may allow work to.

I continue if in his opinion the condition will not be worsened by continued activity in the area'.

Work limits shall be stated on the EDN.
