Tom Novak Recall that'for the Waterford readiness visit we initiated a new effort of having two senior PMs from similar previously licensed plants attend the visit. The PMs for the Waterford visit were H. Rood and V. Herses and have provided me with the attached discussion of issues as they understood them during their visit.
It appears that a number of the issues listed on the attachment require s taff. followup. Accordingly, please ensure that each of the issues listed herein are assigned to the staff for review. You should provide me a '
written assessment of each of these issues prior to any licensing decision on Waterford.
