3.2 The QA Manager is responsible for the preparation and control of procedures and instructions to comply with Code and Customer requirements.
I 3.3 The QC Technician is responsible for having knowledge of piping and tubing requirements (i.e. drawings, procedures, specifications) and for performing inspections under adecuate j
eximination conditions with proper inspection tools in a timely manner.
3.4 The Field Superintendent is responsible for having complete knowledge of inspection requirements for each project and for notifying the -QC Technician, when inspection points are reached.
4.0 PREREOUISITES.
4.1 The QA Supervisor, or his designee, shall verify that engineering instructions, drawings and procedures have been issued specifying location, type and grade, of material to be installed.

5.2 Installed ccrrpenents must be in accordance wi,th Mercury drawings, Ebasco flow diagrams, Ebasco B-430 details and Ebasco furnished Vendor drawings when applicable.
5.3 Inspection shall verify materials, dimensions, cut-outs and size of welded attachments when applicable.
5.4 The quality of workmanship shall result in a neat appearance 5.5 Particular care shall be taken to ensure that negligible
' warping or distortion results from cutting and welding operations.
5.6< During final inspection verification must be made to assure compliance with Separation Criteria.

6.2.2 ASME P2 and P3 Pipe and Tube which is field bent shall have 100s visual inspection to detect ovality, buckling or wrinkling at the inside of the bend radius, and cracking or checking at the outside bend radius.
If for any reason the inspector finds a bend where ovality is questionable during visual inspection a calibrated dial caliper or equivalent calibrated instrument shall be used to measure the ovality of that bend and if found to be over the limits of 6.2.2.1 below it is unacceptable.
6.2.2.1 The ovality of tubing after bending shall not exceed 8x as determined by:
100 x (DMAX-Dmin) / Do Where-DO = the minimum diameter before bending.
Dmin=the minimum diameter after bending.
Dmax=the maximum diameter after bending.
