ADDED RESOURCES NEEDED TO RESOLVE WATERFORD ISSUES Based on discussions with the appropriate staff and the licensee, additional inspection resources are needed to complete the fire protection inspections, those related to allegations, and those issues resulting from the CAT and Inquiry Team efforts.

The enclosure outlines the resources felt necessary to I

complete those efforts in time to support a licensing decision by late April.

i You should note that the completion of the basemat issue could require added l

resources from NRR and the Region.
