1 technical assistance you requested. On May 11,1984, the contractin Officer provided verbal authorization to Parameter, Inc., to undertake negat 4tions, and these services should have been available to you beginning on May 14, 1984.

t Verbal authorization to proceed has been given even though, contractually IE and the Division of Contracts believe that we.do not have an adequate scope
,of work. Your memo provides some information; however, the additional details need to be addressed in order for IE and Divisien of Contracts to fully respond to your request:
1.
State the engineering specialty of each consultant.

State specifically what work is required of each consultant in relation to their area of expertise.
Include testimony at hearings if anticipated.
3.
State what end-products or interim deliverables (written or verbal) are required of each consultant.

State the number of hours anticipated to perform the work, the location the work is to be perfonned, the number of days in travel status, and the time period during which these services are required.
5.
Identify the NRC contact at the Waterford site.
