responses was outlined in Mr A V Dienhart's letter of July 30, 1970.

The ACRS letter also mentioned the need to gain assurance that the biological shield surrounding the reactor vessel can withstand the pressure that could be developed by a loss of integrity of a safe-end or nozzle, or that failure of the shield would have no intolerable consequences. Accordingly, we are enclosing 40 copies of a report on this subject by General Electr c Company dated March 21, 1972.
