l MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Supplement 1 to License Amendment Request Dated October 31,1997 Condensate Storage Tank Low Level HPCl/RCIC Suction Transfer Attached is Supplement No.1 to an October 31,1997 request for an amendment to the Technical Specifications, Appendix A of the Operating License for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. This request is submittec' jn accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.90.

The purpose of this supplement is to send a replacement Exhibit C which contains Technical Specification pages incorporating the proposed changes described in our original October 31,1997 request. NSP recently converted the Monticello Technical Specifications to an updated word processing program, and the printout is aesthetically different. NSP therefore is issuing pages from the new word processor for use by the

NRC in issuing the Safety Evaluation Report.

Except for aesthetics, word wrapping, some added table borders, and modified footers, l the three attached pages are identical to the pages of Exhibit C of the October 31,1997 l License Amendment Request. In the footers, NSP changed from Revision Numbers to j the NRC's convention of Amendment Numbers. Therefore, the original October 31, A/)dj l 1997 proposed changes, reasons for the changes, Safety Evaluation, Determination of No Significant Hazards Consideration, and Environmental Assessment remain unchanged and still apply.
