April 1, 0001 Unit is in Mode 4 at 2100F. A cooldown is in progress to repair 2W-8248 containment isolation valve. No positive reactivity changes are being made pending completion of the evaluation of failed surveillance tests of the reactor trip breakers. Revision of the license condition concerning the PASS (extending the date of required operability) is required prior to Mode 2 entry.

April 1, 0029 Ditered Mode 5 April 2, 0603 2W-8248 operable following valve replacemnt.

April 2, 0955 Entered Mode 4.

April 4, 0510 Entered Mode 3.

4 April 4, 1345 2W-8248 declared inoperable due to erroneous valve position indication.

April 4, 1440 Comenced cooldown in accordance with LCO 3.0.3.

April 4, 1752 Notified the NRC via the red phone and the site inspector that 2W-8248 is operable and cooldown has been terminated.

April 5, 1930 PASS denonstration for the NRC completed.

April 6, 1455 Entered Mode 4.

April 6, 1945 Satisfactorily coupleted hydroset testing of pressurizer safety valve setpoint.

April 7, 0525 Stopped WCW pump 3P-120. W CW surge tank was pressurized to the discharge head of the TpCW pur.ps as a result of a mispositioned valve and the removal of an automatic control feature. 'Ihe tank bottom bowed and all anchor bolts parted.

April 7, 1300 mtered Mode 5 and comenced outage activities consistent with NRC approval for return to Mode 2 and power operation.

April 18 2034 Placed W CW in service following cocpletion of repairs to surge tank.

April 24, 2050 Entered Mode 4.

April 28, 1312 Entered Mode 3.

April 29, 1240 Notified that NRC has given approval for Unit 2 to enter Mode 2 (interim approval on reactor trip breakers and license amendment for PASS).

April 30, 2359 Unit is in Mode 3 at 530 0F, 2250 psia.
