01/28/97 2010 While aligning containment spray for SDC, PZR level increased 10% (to 45%) due to manual valve sequence error.

01/31/97 2400. Mode 5, Tc=92 deg., SG nozzle dams installed, PZR level .35%, Shutdown Cooling in senice.

Note: There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves during the month.

4 0926 NRC granted a Notice of Enforcement Discretion (NOED) for 3G002 and 3G003.  ;

01/17/97 0310 CPC Channel A failed, DNBR/LPD trips. I 1555 CPC Channel A returned to service aller repair.

01/26/97 0100~ Commenced downpower to 80% at 10% per hour for heat treat.

0300 Arrived at 80% power, commenced bumping all 4 circ water pumps to reduce water box d/p.

1519 At heat treat target temperature of 103 deg.

1619 Completed 1-hour heat treat and commenced cooldown of intake.

governor valve 3UV-2200G.

01/27/97 0300 Completed reactor power ramp to 93.7% power,1049 MWe. Holding this power level until HP governor valve returned to service.
